I am an entrepreneur. But I am also a passionate procrastinator and occasional over-analyser. Hence, as you can imagine, I often find myself mind mapping and twiddling papers instead of getting stuff done. What does it really take to be your own boss? Not only in business but in life. That’s what I’d like to know.
In this blog I talk about various subjects from creativity to passion and self-leadership. Anything really that takes us closer to fulfilling our potential. Our lives are like puzzles — if one piece doesn’t fit, we try another one until we find the right combination that works for us. At the moment I am running an indoor landscaping company (Dix Point Oy) in Helsinki with the mission to bring more clarity and creativity to workplaces.
However, I also love coffee and baking. I’ve been working in hospitality for almost 15 years and for some reason I still enjoy it. Despite all the hardships of the industry. When I create something with my hands, my mind calms down. So at the moment I’m also working in a coffee shop. And perhaps one day I will put the pieces of my puzzle together and create something completely new. That’s the fun part of being an entrepreneur.
